most of the time they'll sleep next to me and behave like the perfect little angels that I love. but Snow, he knows how to open my closet door and he sometimes gets in there and makes noise and I have to get up to close the door. sometimes I'll have to do that like 3 times in one night. or sometimes they'll find a toy and start meowing like if they had never mewoed before! meow meow meow meow meow meow meow...
I used to keep a little water gun by my night table to
"shoot them'' when they'd get too annoying while I'd sleep. it works! I got the idea from a show on 'animal planet' , but I think they found the water gun while I was at work and hid it away so I'd never find it. they're very smart. I love my kitties! :-)
it'll be 6 years this Christmas since I've had them.
btw: My fave colors are blues, greens and purples. I like oranges, reds and pinks, too. but aquamarine is my absolute fave. -

Fri, October 29, 2004 - 12:57 AMthe cat i now live with is nearly 3, she's part siamese (or persian: whatever the breed is that's renowned for not being able to have a single thought without expressing it vocally). she typically wakes up at 4am and will do whatever it takes to get me up and pay her some attention: that can be anything from letting her outside (relief!) or just going to see whether she needs more food (which she invariably doesn't - but she likes to be watched while she eats anyway).
sigh. i can't even remember when i last had a good night's sleep... -

Fri, October 29, 2004 - 8:22 AMyes. I suppose it's like with real babies. the older they get, the 'easier' it gets. my kitty Snow is the most spoiled baby in the world, now he's mellowed a lot and is less vocal, but still just as playfull. he's more 'mature' now.
I like to watch my kitties eat. it's cute.
